Why Harvest Life Groups?

 

The Church of Jesus Christ is not a place, a building, or a program.  The Church is people.  All true believers in Jesus are people who are united by faith in Him and baptized into the one Body of Christ.  God is challenging us at Harvest Outreach to be connected to one another (like parts of a Body) in living, caring community, learning what it means to be His Spirit-filled disciples in our generation.  The Biblical word used to describe this is "koinonia", a sharing of the life of the Spirit of Christ in loving friendships.  This is the heart of Harvest Life Groups!
